Sharing Our Scholarship
This year, 29 individual presenters from the Department of Educational Administration, an affiliate of The Center, will share their scholarship at the Association for the Study of Higher Education's (ASHE) annual conference November 14-17, 2018 in Tampa, Florida!
This group includes 9 faculty members and 20 graduate students. Collectively, this group will engage in 35 separate sessions, including interactive symposiums, presidential sessions, posters presentations, empirical paper sessions, theoretical paper sessions, and roundtable discussions. In addition, other Center representatives will chair several sessions.
Dr. Marilyn Amey Co-edits The SAGE Encyclopedia of Higher Education
Dr. Marilyn Amey, Professor of Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education and Chairperson of the Department of Educational Administration, co-edited an encyclopedia focused on the study and influence of higher education on universities and global economies.
Student-Scholar Spotlight: Dr. Jennifer Marcy, HALE Alumna, receives Honorable Mention for CIES SIG 2020 Best Dissertation Award
The CIES Study Abroad & International Students Special Interest Group (SIG) Awards Committee selected Dr. Jennifer Marcy’s dissertation for the 2020 Best Dissertation Award, Honorable Mention.
Dr. Leslie Gonzales and HALE Doctoral Candidates, Dana Kanhai and Kayon Hall, receive AERA - Division J 2019 Outstanding Publication Award
The American Educational Research Association (AERA) awarded Dr. Leslie D. Gonzales, Associate Professor, and doctoral candidates, Dana Kanhai and Kayon A. Hall the 2019 Division J Outstanding Publication Award for "Reimagining Organizational Theory"
