Grounded in Place and Purpose: Tribal Colleges and Universities as Places of Indigenous Learning and Restorative Practices
Dr. Yazzie-Mintz will contextualize the tribal college movement within its historical roots and journey to revitalize tribal communities. The talk will center on examples such as the ways in which TCUs are engaged in childhood community-based programs.
The Loren and Opal Raines Colloquium Series
The Raines Colloquium honors the significant contributions of Emeritus Professor Max Raines to the department, the college, the university, and the field of student affairs in higher education.
Ewigleben Lecture Series
The Ewigleben Lecture Series is bi-annually presented by the Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education program along with the Center for Higher and Adult Education.
Graduate Research Colloquium (GRC)
The GRC features research projects and scholarly activity conducted by current students in the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education Ph.D., M.A., and Student Affairs Administration Master’s program.
Brown Bag Discussions
The Center hosts an annual Brown Bag Discussion Series that addresses professional development topics of interest to current doctoral students in the Educational Administration Department programs.
