Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Student Life Survey Report 2013

This is the fifth year the Department of Student Governance and Development (SGD) has engaged in the Student Life Survey. The objectives of the study were to

• assist in identifying possible causes in the lack of interest in student life;
• develop possible strategies to revive student interest; and
• analyse participation in student life with regards to race and nationality.

The survey is an assessment of the NMMU student experience in an effort to both understand the issues and challenges of students by providing them with an opportunity to give their input and contribute to improving the overall student life experience at the NMMU.
